FUNDAMENTALS OF UNSTEADY AERODYNAMICS AND ITS APPLICATIONS

The contents of this book are intended to describe the fundamental physics and theories of unsteady aerodynamics that are indispensable for theoretical analysis such as self-exited vibration (flutter) of airplane wings and flapping flight of birds and insects. As to the applications of the unsteady aerodynamics, analyses of transonic flutter of airplane wings, bird-like UAV, standing swimming of dolphin, flight performance of dragonfly and power generation system utilizing flutter phenomenon are described.
